Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Jio has already made an announcement and revealed its new low-cost broadband service. Reliance Jio’s Jio Fiber broadband service is expected to come up by the quarter end. The service was expected to launch to the end of 2017 but finally it is going to roll out next month in about 30 cities of India. If this news is true, then soon users will experience high-speed broadband Internet from the April. Jio fiber broadband service will be the second big service of reliance followed by its 4G LTE service network in September 2016.
This Jio Fiber Broadband service or FTTH is a broadband network that is designed by using optical fiber to offer fully or partially circle used for last mile telecommunications. According to the reports, Jio has already started product’s trial and is all set for commercial launch. Upcoming FTTH service is the most awaiting service of Jio not just about its speed and tariff but also for several other features.
Reliance Jio’s Fiber Preview offer has exclusively been launched in selected areas of Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Jamnagar, Surat, Delhi-NCR and Mumbai. Recently Jio has free up various plans to the public. The plan is in a range between 500 to 5500. As far as pricing concern, the plan is supposed to come up with the disruptive pricing model, alike the Jio Mobile Network.
As of now the plan is distributed in three main categories such as
- Jio Giga Fiber Speed based Plan,
- Jio Giga Fiber Volume based Plan and
- Jio Giga Fiber Special broadband Plans.
These three categories have various plans. Speed-based plans are basically restricted with limited data usage and speed. Volume based plans are not capped with any kind of data limit. So if you do not want to be restricted by any limit they you should go with this plan. You can enjoy data between 5GB to 60 GB range daily. This offer may include 100GB of data per month at 100 Mbps speed for three months. Post consumption of 100GB, the speed will reduce to 1Mbps. Users will experience ultra high speed internet service at a refundable security deposit of Rs 4,500 that will be effectively free. It is expected that Jio may charge Rs 500 for 100 GB data after three-month of free service.
However, users are waiting for the service to be launched in other cities and they are expecting the service that will allow them to stream up to 4,000 content and connect multiple devices to enjoy high-speed Internet. The company had dominated the telecom market by launching its high-speed 4G Internet network with free voice calls as well as free SMS services.
The company is again all set to capture the market by investing heavily in the bunch of services such as the Direct-to-Home (DTH) Television services and IoT solutions. Reliance Jio has dominated the market with attractive ad low price offers from the time when they came into the market, defeat most of its rivals in the communication sector.
