After recent reports on Facebook tests, Facebook tested digital payments in India within its Messenger application; this social networking site now offers the option of mobile recharge within the mobile application. The peer-to-peer and peer-to-peer payment service is gradually implemented in the future. While the service is being tested in beta with selected users, the latest Facebook application for Android also brings some useful changes.
For starters, the user interface (UI) of the application has been renewed and now looks cleaner. It has new icons that are larger in size and look attractive too. The frequently used services are shown at the top, while the configuration and privacy section has also been renewed with new icons, with gray scale logos. Among the interesting things, the new ‘Mobile recharge’ is also present here, and allows you to recharge any prepaid cell phone number in India.
The list of admitted operators includes: Airtel, BSNL, MTNL (Mumbai and Delhi), Tata Docomo, Vodafone, Idea, Telenor and Jio. If you are viewing this option in your Facebook application, here we explain how you can use it to make prepaid recharges.

To start, open the Facebook application, tap the hamburger menu in the upper right corner, tap “Mobile recharge” and then tap “Reload now”.
